Consultations:
Your consultation
appointment is the foundation for creating
your individual plan for oral health. Our
philosophy is to provide optimal services
for knowledgeable patients in the manner in
which they choose. At the core of this is
the making of your diagnostic records which
include the lowest radiation 3D scan and
intra-oral camera images for you to view.
Our exam includes all of the bones of your
face as well as your teeth and their
supporting structures, your sinuses, airway
and joint systems. All of your concerns are
considered in the context of creating long
term, high value outcomes. Once this
information has been thoroughly explained to
you, three options are provided:
What is the outcome
and cost of doing nothing
What is the outcome,
process an cost of correcting problems
with an intermediate term goal of
stopping disease and wear processes
What is the outcome,
process and cost of providing optimal
long term care
We refer to this process
as patient-centered, patient directed care.
Diagnostics:
In
order to insure success in our procedures,
we take the necessary time to fully and
thoroughly evaluate your present dental
condition. We use the appropriate diagnostic
tools such as X-rays, models, photographs,
visual examination, full periodontal exam,
cancer screening, and esthetic evaluations.
Our goal is to give our patients the
necessary information and education so that
they may enjoy a beautiful, healthy smile
for many years to come.
Cleanings: We believe a
good foundation is the key to optimal oral
health, therefore, our periodontal care is
of utmost priority. We customize cleanings
to properly care for your specific
periodontal (gums & bone) needs. Whether a
six month checkup or full periodontal
therapy, our hygienists will always strive
to provide the very best treatment while
maintaining your absolute comfort. You can
even watch a movie while you visit! Try it,
we know you'll like it!
Fillings:
Modern
dentistry has allowed us the pleasure of
combining beauty as well as strength when
filling teeth. We take pride in "restoring"
teeth to as close to their original strength
and appearance with composite resins and
ceramics. Since patient comfort is top
priority, our clinical staff and doctors go
the extra mile to make coming to the dentist
a whole new positive experience.
Crowns:Crowns are used to restore both anterior
and posterior teeth that have been broken or
are at high risk of doing so due to
over-sized old fillings or fractures. There
are a variety of materials used to construct
these and by working with the finest
laboratories in the country we are pleased
to produce crowns that look and feel like
your real teeth.
Bridges: Bridges are fixed, or
non-removable prosthesis constructed to
replace one or more missing teeth. The teeth
on either side of the existing space are
used to anchor the bridge to restore
functionality as well as esthetics. We are
now able to construct beautiful porcelain
over metal as well as full porcelain and
resin-based bridges to produce the best
results for each particular situation.
Prevention:
Regular dental visits are essential to
maintaining oral health and timely diagnosis
and treatment when needed.
Cleaning , X-ray , Sealant , Fluoride

gum disease involving removal of
hardened plaque (tartar or calculus)
from teeth.

Restorations:
Restoring (Filling) lost tooth structure
with amalgam, metal, porcelain or composite

Composite Filling
Old insufficient Amalgam
Filling
White Filling : Composites
are not only used to restore decayed
areas, but are also used for
cosmetic improvement of the smile by
changing the color of the teeth or
reshaping disfigured teeth.
Inlay : A custom-made cast
gold or porcelain, alloy that is
cemented to a previously prepared
cavity in the tooth. A stronger and
longer-lasting alternative to
amalgam or composite filling.
Onlay : A gold or porcelain
inlay extended to cover the cusps
for protection of the tooth, leaving
more natural tooth than a crown.
Porcelain
Inlays & Onlays : are often preferred by
dentists, rather than composite or amalgam
filling. In suitable teeth, these are
excellent long term alternatives, although
they are of generally more cost.
Veneers : Plastic or
porcelain facing which is bonded
directly to a tooth to improve its
appearance, producing a very natural
appearance.
Bleaching : Whitening of the
teeth with a combination of
solutions (weak acids and hydrogen
peroxide). This procedure can be
done at home (home bleaching ) or in
the office (power bleaching).
Crowns & Bridges:
can be made of metal (gold or non-precious
metal), porcelain or porcelain fused to
metal. They are strong and last for about
ten years if you take good care of them.
